Fukase was the second vocaloid to be released in 2016, and began as a V4. He took his voice from Satoshi Fukase, lead singer of SEKAI NO OWARI. His design was chosen through a contest, with the winner being an artist named mikuma. Fukase is uncommonly used in songs because his licensing conditions are much stricter than other VOCALOIDS. Most VOCALOIDS are treated like instruments in the sense that you just have to buy the voicebank once, and from then on you are free to use them however you like. If you wish to profit using Fukase, however, you must apply for a license from Tokyo Fantasy (which is difficult to obtain), adhere to specific content rules, and share your profit with Tokyo Fantasy.
